Sinclair Broadcast Group Appoints Stephen Clare Vice President, Finance

BALTIMORE–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) today announced that Stephen Clare has been named Vice President, Finance. Clare will oversee the company’s financial planning and analysis services as well as business development services and will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. He joins Sinclair from Audacy, where he was vice president of finance.

In making the announcement, Lucy Rutishauser, Sinclair’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said, “Steve has a long history of financial excellence and expertise, particularly in the media space. We are delighted that Steve is returning to Sinclair where he worked earlier in his career.

Previously, Clare held several senior financial positions at Media General and LIN Media, where he was vice president of finance and previously director of financial planning and analysis. He was a consultant in mergers and acquisitions and spent eight years at Sinclair where he served as assistant controller of operations and assistant controller of radio.

Clare holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Edinboro in Pennsylvania. Active in the community, Clare regularly volunteers with Mobile Loaves & Fishes/Community First!, an organization working to end homelessness in Texas.
