Capital Planning & Construction’s new Executive Director Ellie Daneshnia signs the final ceremonial beam for the new school in spring 2020.
âRod graduated from Highline Highline High School in 1969, then returned to our district in 1975, first as a TV repair technician.
âI wouldn’t have changed a thing while I was here,â says Rod. âIt was special to end my career in the district with the construction of the new Highline High School, because it was my school. I went here. “
âHe passes the title of Executive Director of Capital Planning & Construction to Ellie Daneshnia. Ellie was a project manager for the Olympic Middle School site and the new Highline High School when she joined our Capital Planning & Construction team in 2019 as Associate Executive Director.
âThank you for your exceptional service to our students, staff and community, Rod, and for allowing us to twist your arm to stay a few more years for your grand finale. Enjoy!”
